Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

The files you open in Filexora's tools are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. We do use a few standard third-party services (like analytics and advertising) that collect limited technical data, explained below.

Your files

Every Filexora tool runs on your own device inside your browser. When you select a file, it is read and processed locally. We do not receive, see, store or transmit your files or their contents. When you close or refresh the page, any file data held in memory is gone.

Information we collect

We don't ask you to create an account or give us personal information. However, like most websites, some limited data is collected automatically to help the site run and improve:

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for basic preferences (like remembering light or dark mode) and, through our partners, for analytics and advertising. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Google AdSense & advertising cookies

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to Filexora and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For users in the EEA/UK, we request consent for such cookies before they are used.

Children's privacy

Filexora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete data held about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we don't hold your files and don't maintain accounts, most such requests relate to the third-party services above, which you can control through their settings or your browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
