The short version
The files you open in Filexora's tools are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. We do use a few standard third-party services (like analytics and advertising) that collect limited technical data, explained below.
Your files
Every Filexora tool runs on your own device inside your browser. When you select a file, it is read and processed locally. We do not receive, see, store or transmit your files or their contents. When you close or refresh the page, any file data held in memory is gone.
Information we collect
We don't ask you to create an account or give us personal information. However, like most websites, some limited data is collected automatically to help the site run and improve:
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used and how the site performs. It collects anonymised data such as your approximate region, device type, browser and pages visited.
- Advertising: We may display ads through Google AdSense to keep Filexora free. Google and its partners may use cookies to show relevant ads.
- Server logs: Our hosting provider may keep standard logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.
